Cedar River Salmon Stewards

Cedar River Salmon Stewards (CRSS) increases awareness and support for salmon recovery through education and outreach events that help build an informed and engaged community throughout the Cedar River/Lake Washington Watershed. We raise awareness about salmon habitat needs, coordinate messaging about salmon recovery and opportunities for engagement with collaborating agencies, build a diverse community of trained salmon stewards, and empower people to make positive environmental change.

Together, we've talked with 10,286 people about how special these salmon are and how we all play a part in a thriving watershed. The salmon counts through the Locks are something to celebrate. As of September 3rd, we've welcomed:

  • 972 Coho

  • 11,369 Chinook

  • 31,302 Sockeye
