About the event
Join Environmental Science Center at the Renton Library for this interactive, guided walk along the Cedar River. This program is designed to give beginning to avid birders a chance to explore and learn together.
We will start with an introduction on how to properly use binoculars and give tips for identifying birds by both sight and sound. We’ll share identification tips, species adaptations and the importance of providing native habitats.
Registration required for all participants. This walk is geared toward ages 13+ and travels on the paved pathways along the river. The path is mostly flat with a few small inclines.
Reasonable accommodation for people with disabilities is available by request. Email access@kcls.org at least seven days before the event. Automated closed captioning is always available for online events.
